"An unexpected find in a small rural village surrounded by rubber and palm oil plantations. Relaxing views from both the air-conditioned café and the outdoor balcony and a nice selection of drinks and cakes. We went there not long after it opened and did not return for a while because we found the coffee (hot latte) very weak. However, we went back last week as we were passing with a visiting friend and decided to give the coffee a second chance. This time we ordered a double shot latte in a smaller cup (the closest they had to a flat white), and it was reasonably good. The café was much busier than on our previous trip, as more people have obviously discovered it from the good reviews, but there is still one issue that disturbed us. The friendly café cat has a serious skin disease (mange most likely) and a bacterial infection around its eyes. Both can be easily treated by a vet, but it’s obvious that the cat has not been taken to a vet for treatment. This café cost a LOT to build so surely the owners can afford to get their cat treated. If it doesn’t get treated soon, it will die, because it’s already in quite a bad condition. I love going to cafés where there is a friendly resident cat, but I came away from this café visit feeling very sad for the poor cat (which is why I dropped a star from the overall rating)."

Pure nature, total peace, far away from the noise and rush of everyday life. The staff are literal angels — incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely caring. The owners are amazing people: always helpful, always available, and never hesitant to go the extra mile. The chef and hotel team deserve special praise — fantastic hospitality and attention to every detail. If you want to truly feel nature, disconnect, and breathe freely, this is the place.
